Welcome to my accumulative portfolio that showcases the growth of my passion in journalism beginning in the ninth grade. I appreciate the time that judges have spent viewing my work. I am incredibly thankful for everyone who has had their hand in my journey and I am proud of how far I have come. The future seems bright due to the commitment of journalism education and I hope to be a product of this. Thank you.

After working on my portfolio for three years, I am incredibly grateful to announce that I am a member of the Arkansas All-State Journalism team.

This is an amazing opportunity that I am humble to be apart of. It is amazing to see where dedication can get anyone. I tell younger students that the outcome always depends on what they put into it. I can now say that my dedication over the past three years to my high school journalism department has opened new doors for me and I can not wait to see what the future holds for me.

About

Being Allison

I am a freshman at the University of Missouri at Columbia. Currently, I am planning on earning a dual degree in May of 2023. I am hoping to earn a Bachelor’s in Journalism for Strategic Communications and a Bachelor’s in Arts and Science for Communications with an emphasis in meditated communications. I am working with the Maneater on campus. I am also a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Eta Chi chapter where I am on the philanthropy committee and serve as the Greek Week service liaison. In high school, I earned a position on the inaugural Arkansas All State Journalism team and placed first in the National Press Women’s high school contest for a page design.
